My family invested in their summer home at Silver Lake Sand Dunes in the early '70s. Growing up in a large family, the fifth of six children, accommodations, preparations, and everything in between were always a huge undertaking. But one thing I know for sure: once you experience West Michigan's Lakeshore, you're hooked.

My dad always referred to it as "God's country," and life seemed to take on a whole new pace at the Sand Dunes. Our days were filled with swimming and exploring, laughter and friendship, great meals, and evening fires. Every year brought new faces to join our family or neighbors. Because once you fall in love with Pure Michigan, you secretly want to keep it quaint while sharing it with anyone who means something to you.

Years later, my husband and I decided to make West Michigan—Grand Haven to be exact—our new home. Making Michigan my primary residence in 2023 was an easy decision. As the owner of Tranquil Interiors, with a design philosophy rooted in creating sanctuary and fostering connections, I am delighted to share my professional expertise with homeowners along the lakeshore.

Following the consultation, we provide a proposal outlining expectations, which are then formalized in a contract.
